All CyberSmart! workshops apply a social constructivist approach where educators can use digital tools to gather information on a relevant topic of immediate and compelling interest to their own professional context.
The Research & Information Fluency Workshop is specifically targeted to this skill area focusing on online search skills necessary for effective Internet use.

All workshops provide:
- facilitators, one for each cohort of 25 educators
- lively multimedia instructional tutorials
- a unique interactive multimedia inquiry-based database of experts
- hands on practice with web 2.0 communication and collaboration tools
- pre and post assessment
- management progress and completion reports
- ongoing access to expert Knowledgebase for one year
- ongoing support of CyberSmart Professional Learning Community. School Districts may reserve rooms.
- One (1) CEU credit
