Data Driven Management
For each workshop(s) management, we provide schools and/or district administrators with course progress and completion reports for all enrolled participants.
No special software needs to be installed. A simple login and password is all that is required.
CyberSmart! Online Workshop Data Management Reports
Selected individuals will be granted an administrative status that enables them to generate and view a Workshop Progress Monitor Report at any time. This downloadable file can be manipulated offline as a spreadsheet to look at the collected data in whatever manner desired.
The report tracks each workshop participant’s progression from the registration date through workshop completion. It’s easy to pinpoint those who are on track, as well as those who are lagging in weekly progression through the workshop.
CyberSmart! Online Professional Development uses data collected about workshop participants to evaluate the learning of individuals, to strengthen the efficacy of its workshops, the quality of the overall experience and the responsiveness of the workshop facilitator. We do this by:
- capturing every keystroke made by workshop participants.
- providing a progress monitoring report on every participant that is continuously available online for school or district administrators. This also permits facilitators to identify lagging participants immediately and to intervene effectively.
- providing workshop completion data which may include copies of any written work and all participation in collaborative activities.
- applying a pre and post survey to measure changes in attitudes, content knowledge, and skills.
- applying an evaluative survey of facilitator effectiveness and continuously monitoring facilitator comments through a database designed for this purpose.
- providing schools and districts the tools needed to engage in follow-up evaluation activities, including surveys and observation forms, in order to gauge the impact of CyberSmart! PD over time.
