Creativity & Critical Thinking

All CyberSmart! workshops result in the active construction of new knowledge within an inquiry-based model, requiring participants to collect, analyze, synthesize and evaluate content in collaborative online communications, written reflections, and problem-solving forums.

The Creative & Critical Thinking Workshop is specifically targeted to this skill area focusing on the effective use of the Internet to facilitate higher-order thinking.

All workshops provide:

• facilitators, one for each cohort of 25 educators
• lively multimedia instructional tutorials
• a unique interactive multimedia inquiry-based database of experts
• hands on practice with web 2.0 communication and collaboration tools
• pre and post assessment
• management progress and completion reports
• ongoing access to expert Knowledgebase for one year
• ongoing support of CyberSmart Professional Learning Community. School Districts may reserve rooms.
• One (1) CEU credit
