They learn how to retrieve information appropriate to their reading level and how to evaluate the usefulness of informational Web sites. Children learn to seek out the advice of a skilled librarian and that there are advantages to using the Internet from a school or public library. The value of children utilizing books as information resources, rather than just relying on the Internet is examined. |
